Responsible play
Playing should stay entertainment. Here is how to keep an eye on it.
Age requirement
You must be 18 or older to open an account. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up, and we may ask you to verify your identity before processing a withdrawal.
Know what you are spending
Your account keeps a complete record of every deposit, game load, redemption, and withdrawal, and breaks down how much you have loaded and redeemed per game. It is worth checking periodically — the totals are often larger than people expect.
Some signs worth taking seriously
- Playing with money set aside for bills, rent, or food.
- Depositing again straight after losing, to win it back.
- Borrowing money, or hiding how much you play, from people close to you.
- Playing longer or more often than you meant to, repeatedly.
Tools in your account
These exist today and take a few seconds to set. You do not have to talk to anyone to use them.
- Deposit limits— cap what you can add over a period, in your account settings.
- Your full history— every deposit, load, redemption and withdrawal, with per-game totals. Reading it back is the single most useful thing on this page.
- Closing your account— ask support and we will do it. We will not talk you out of it.
Getting help
If any of that sounds familiar, talking to someone independent helps. The National Problem Gambling Helpline is free, confidential and open every hour of every day, in all 50 states.
Call or text 1-800-522-4700Or chat online at ncpgambling.org/chat. Run by the National Council on Problem Gambling, and nothing to do with us — they are independent, and the call does not come back to your account.
You can also ask us to close your account at any time through support.
