Sweepstakes Rules
This document has not been published yet. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. These Sweepstakes Rules govern all sweepstakes promotions offered on NavJ Casino by [legal entity name] (the "Sponsor").
1. ELIGIBILITY. Open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Void in [excluded states and territories] and wherever prohibited. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, its affiliates, and its promotional partners, and their immediate families and household members, are not eligible. One account per person, per household, per device.
2. THE TWO VIRTUAL CURRENCIES. Gold Coins are for entertainment only. They have NO monetary value, are NOT redeemable for cash or any prize, and cannot be exchanged for anything of value. Sweeps Coins are the promotional entry currency. Subject to these Rules, one Sweeps Coin may be redeemed for a prize of US$1.00 once it has been played through. Sweeps Coins have no cash value until validly redeemed under these Rules.
3. HOW TO GET SWEEPS COINS WITHOUT PAYING (FREE METHOD OF ENTRY). You may request Sweeps Coins free of charge, with no purchase and no obligation, by mail. Hand-print your full name, street address (no PO boxes), city, state, ZIP code, date of birth, and the email address registered to your account on a plain 3x5 inch card, place it in a #10 envelope with sufficient postage, and mail it to [mail-in entry address]. Limit one request per outer envelope and [limit] requests per person per calendar week. Each valid request receives [amount] Sweeps Coins. Requests must be handwritten by the entrant; mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, or postage-due requests are void. Allow 10 to 14 business days from receipt for the Sweeps Coins to appear in your account. Sweeps Coins obtained free of charge carry exactly the same redemption rights, at the same value, and under the same conditions as those received with a purchase.
4. PLAYTHROUGH. Sweeps Coins must be played through one time (1x) on eligible games before the resulting balance becomes eligible for redemption. Your balance shows the eligible and not-yet-eligible portions separately at all times. Play funded by Gold Coins does not count toward playthrough.
5. REDEMPTION. To redeem you must hold at least [minimum] of redeemable Sweeps Coins, have completed identity and age verification, and redeem to a payment method held in your own name. Prizes are awarded in cash at a rate of US$1.00 per Sweeps Coin. Requests are reviewed during staffed hours and are ordinarily processed within one business day. Maximum redemption of [maximum] per calendar week. The Sponsor may require a signed affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release before awarding a prize, and may disqualify an entrant who does not return it within 14 days.
6. TAXES. Prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner for all federal, state, and local taxes. The Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC to winners whose aggregate prizes reach US$600 in a calendar year, and may require a completed Form W-9 before paying.
7. ODDS AND OUTCOMES. Outcomes are determined by a random number generator. The odds of any given outcome depend on the game played and the number of entries made. Per-game odds and return-to-player information, where the game supplier publishes it, are available from the game's own information screen.
8. DISQUALIFICATION AND FORFEITURE. The Sponsor may disqualify an entrant and void unredeemed Sweeps Coins for multiple accounts, false information, use of a VPN or proxy to misrepresent location, bots or automation, collusion, chargeback abuse, exploitation of an error, or any breach of the Terms of Service. Any attempt to deliberately damage the platform or undermine its legitimate operation may be a criminal and a civil offence.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or terminate a promotion if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs its integrity, and may then award prizes from among eligible entries received up to that point. Entries that are late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or corrupted are void. The Sponsor's records are the official record of entries and play.
10. RELEASE. By entering, you release the Sponsor, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability for loss, harm, or damage arising from participation or from the acceptance or use of a prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW. These Rules are governed by the laws of [governing law state]. Disputes arising out of or relating to these Rules are resolved under section 14 of the Terms of Service, which requires individual arbitration, waives class actions, and gives you 30 days to opt out. That section governs disputes under these Rules in full.
12. WINNERS LIST AND SPONSOR. For a list of winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to [winners list address] within 90 days of the end of the promotion. Sponsor: [legal entity name], [registered address].
The text above is complete. What is missing is the company’s own details — its registered name and address, the addresses that receive mail-in entries and winners-list requests, and the states it does not operate in. Those are filled in one place, and until they are, the document still reads “[legal entity name]” in places and cannot be relied on.
